Any text edits for these projects will be unavailable after January 1st, 2023 unless using a previous supported version as noted above. NOTE - Encapsulated or Embedded Postscript Type 1 fonts in Portable Document Format (PDF) or Encapsulated Postscript (EPS) files will still display after support has ended. End of support for Adobe applications is one version behind the latest release version ( CC2023 - 1 = CC2022). Older versions of Abode Creative Cloud applications will continue to support Postscript Type 1 fonts until support for these applications end. This means you will not be able to activate and use Postscript Type 1 fonts in any project moving forward. Once these new versions are installed on your computer, they will display Postscript Type 1 fonts as a “missing font” in each of the Creative Cloud applications. Type 1 fonts will continue to be supported in previous software versions. It can also be caused by an error on the Adobe side that does not provision resources properly when the account was created. With the release of Adobe Creative Cloud 2023, all versions of the Adobe Creative Cloud applications moving forward will no longer show, recognize or activate Postscript Type 1 fonts.Īdobe has stated: Type 1 fonts will not be supported in the following software versions and beyond:
